Learning & Development Partner - Sales

Seeking a Learning & Development Partner for a 6-month contract with key experience of partnering with Sales business functions and product lines. The role will play an integral role in helping size, shape and repurpose the global sales and product learning curriculum across a global professional services organisation. This will include conducting a thorough diagnosis of existing content, identifying skills gaps and then pulling everything together to design a targeted learning & development suite of programs for the sales business that cultivates high sales performance along with enhanced technical and behavioural skills sets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct a gap analysis, review existing content and build a learning delivery plan for 2025 for the sales function
  • Work with sales leaders to understand sales processes to assess learning needs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend, design and build learning curriculum with a business wide global mindset covering both technical and behavioural learning
  • Build a blended learning solution incorporating virtual and in person training sessions, workshops and seminars
  • Foster a continuous learning culture within the sales functions ensuring core learning solutions critical skills including negotiation techniques, objection handling, product knowledge and cross selling are in place
  • Evaluate effectiveness of learning programs through analytics, metrics and feedback

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience of working as a Learning & Development Partner supporting the Sales business the function within a global organisation ideally in professional services
  • Experience of design, implementation and facilitation of blended learning solutions including use of learning technologies and learning design
  • Proven ability to build holistic L&D programs for a Sales function building both technical and behavioural learning interventions
  • Experience of building digital learning assets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication style with the ability to present and communicate with a variety of audiences
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
  • Strong time management and organisation skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines in tight time scales
