We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Social Sciences Teacher to join our team and contribute to the success of our Social Sciences, Health and Social Care, and Criminology departments.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Social Sciences (Sociology and Psychology), Health and Social Care, and Criminology that inspire and challenge students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports students' holistic development.
  • Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and contribute to the development of teaching materials.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the educational experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Social Sciences, Health and Social Care, and/or Criminology.
  • A passion for supporting students' holistic development and promoting a love for learning.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities and student progress.
  • A commitment to the school's values and ethos, with a collaborative spirit to work as part of a team.
