Sales Administration Manager

Our Client, a thriving Company based in Wolverhampton,is looking for an experienced Sales Administration Manager to take the lead in sales account management, order processing and stock management. The successful candidate will interrogate the system, update records and accurately process orders for a range of trade customers using a variety of customer portals to ensure an exceptional level of service is provided.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, be self-motivated, proactive, have excellent organisational skills, enjoy solving problems and have strong IT skills with the ability to work between multiple systems/ portals simultaneously.

This is a genuine opportunity to develop your career within a growing Company. Whilst there is no direct line management responsibility initially, you will be an instrumental part of delivering an exceptional level of service to customers and supporting the senior management team.

Duties and Responsibilities of Sales Administration Manager will include:-

  • Engage with trade customers; updating records and accurately process orders using Sage200.
  • Use a variety of customer portals to enable orders to be delivered according to differing customer requirements.
  • Support senior management to review data and contracts for monthly reporting and annual budgeting purposes.
  • Complete general administrative tasks.

Sales Administration

  • Process orders, manage stock and organise deliveries for key national and international customers using a variety of portals/systems.
  • Manage exports including customs declarations to Ireland, Channel Islands and elsewhere.

B2B Portal

  • Monitor and manage orders placed through company B2B portal.
  • Complete all administration, including ongoing improvements.
  • Involvement in marketing strategy and implementation for B2B portal.

Inventory and Pricing Management

  • Maintain accurate stock details in Sage including new products and amendments.
  • Update customer pricing in Sage.
  • Update and manage trade price list.
  • Monitor stock levels and purchase order management.
  • Manage regular rolling stock checks with the warehouse team, resolving stock discrepancies.
  • Managing imports from UK and overseas suppliers.

The ideal Sales Administration Manager candidate will have:-

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in a sales administration based role, at a senior level.
  • Flair for problem solving.
  • The ability to use multiple systems and portals.
  • Experience with Sage 200 (highly desirable.)
  • Leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proven ability to build a strong rapport with customers.
  • Organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Passion for customer service.
  • Experience within a small or family run business would be an advantage.
  • Analytical approach.
  • The ability to multi-task.
  • Self-motivated, proactive nature.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 including good working knowledge of Excel (formulas, functions, conditional formatting).
  • Good standard of education, with a minimum of A-Levels (or equivalent.)
  • Proficiency in ERP system (Sales Ledger, Sales Order Processing, Purchase Order Processing, Stock Control).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced growing environment.
