This is an ideal position for people who are looking to build experience as a teacher. Although the role does not require higher education certification strong transferrable skills are essential.

Day-to-day of the role:
- Stepping into various classrooms across Godalming to ensure continuity in learning during staff absences.
- Teaching a range of subjects and age groups, with each day presenting a new challenge.
- Engaging students and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Adapting to different classroom settings and school cultures.
- Implementing existing lesson plans and ensuring a smooth educational experience for students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cover teacher or transferable skills.
- Maths and English GCSE
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Adaptability, reliability, and effective management skills for groups of young people.
- Strong ability to build rapport with young people and good interpersonal skills.
- A passion for education and a commitment to positively impacting student learning.
