We're looking for a Senior Full Stack TypeScript Developer to join our UK team. We started with MERN stack with an emphasis on the 'N' (Node.js) and now we are using Nest.js.
You'll be working on our flagship product with an all-senior, close-knit product and engineering team based across Israel and the UK.
Position is based 2 days per week in either the Reading office or London, Paddington office (with the other 3 days of the week remote), embedded in a collaborative, open environment. We also try to get together a few times a year to have fun.
In exceptional circumstances (top 10% of the full stack TypeScript market)!, we will consider fully remote first with occasional office visits (Reading or London, Paddington).
Your Impact & Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with other team members to design and implement the backend systems of a complex cloud-based product.
- Writing tests to ensure our code is foolproof
- Deploying on AWS using automated deployment tools
- Growing and sharing your knowledge with the rest of the team
Your Knowledge & Skills
The work will be split between backend and frontend with a heavier emphasis on backend.
- 4 -10+ years of programming experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
4+ years experience coding with Node.js
- 2+ years experience with NoSQL / Postgres
- Independent self-learner
- Experience with React.js/Redux (Next.js ideal, must have experience of OO and asynchronous programming and server side rendering)
- Experience with CI/CD technologies
- Experience with cloud technologies - AWS EC2, Lambda
- Portfolio/Github profile that shows off your work and ability to solve problems.

We have office space in London, Paddington and Reading, Berkshire and would like candidates to spend at least 2 days per week working from an office to collaborate face to face with other team members. We like pair programming, brainstorming, problem solving, blue sky thinking and seeing the whites of each other's eyes. If you want a fully remote first role and are not in the top 10% of talent in the back end and full stack typescript market, this won't be the right fit for you.
