A hugely successful company close to Leigh is looking for an Account Manager. What will you be doing as an Account Manager?
Based from the office, you will be visiting a range of established customers at sites across the UK. Duties include:
- Managing a range of existing customer accounts across the UK
- Meeting customers on a regular basis to review, develop and expand the customers range
- Managing your own diary and arranging appointments
- Analysing customer accounts
- Dealing with a mixture of inbound and outbound calls from the office
- Updating the system and assisting with any administration tasks
- Processing orders
- Attending trade exhibitions
- Emailing to update customers on the progress of their orders
- Processing amendments to orders, sending purchase orders
- The role involves dealing with existing customers - no cold calling
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
- Experience in a similar account manager or field sales role or a background in another business to business sales admin, telesales or other relationship based role would also be interesting
- Strong communicator with excellent relationship building skills
- Self motivated and excellent time management skills
- Flexible and adaptable
- Full current driving licence
