We are collaborating with a prominent distributor in the drinks sector to recruit an Account Manager. This role is integral to the company's growth, focusing on increasing trading accounts and enhancing customer spend through strategic upselling within a designated postcode area.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Achieve the pre-agreed budgeted margin for your area and manage the debt ledger, including the collection of payments.
  • Deliver targets on drive brands in partnership with brand partners.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and manage accounts from start to finish.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Organise technical installations for draught beer dispensing equipment.
  • Offer advice on promotional activities to help customers grow their businesses.
  • Liaise with brand representatives and promote own brand products effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid driving licence for customer site visits.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for managing spreadsheets and records.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the drinks industry and on-trade market.
  • WSET Level 1 qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in wine sales, particularly in the on-trade sector, is highly desirable.
  • A solid track record in sales and achieving growth targets.
