CAD Design Engineer
This is a great opportunity to join a growing business in the engineering sector. Our client is looking for an experienced CAD Design Engineer to join their expanding team.
You will be working as part of a market leading, innovative company that focuses on the design and manufacture of equipment for the food/renewable technologies sector as well as renewable energy production.
Key responsibilities include:
- Generating manufacturing drawings using 3D Inventor and AutoCAD to a high standard.
- Prepare and maintain bills of materials.
- General layout and proposal models and drawings.
- Preparation of O&M manuals and technical files.
- Revision/version control of drawings and documentation.
You must have suitable experience as a CAD Engineer, with a strong attention to detail, excellent organisation skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
You should have experience in at least 2 of the following areas for this position:
- Sheet metal fabrication.
- Machining principles and tolerancing.
- Structural steelwork.
- Pipework and ducting.
- Machinery such as screw conveyors.
