Graduate Teaching Assistant

A three-form entry primary school in Westminster is recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support KS2 children to start in September.

This larger than average multi-cultural primary school is in the heart of the borough has a strong academic focus; however, they also wish to develop student's independence in a fun and nurturing way.

Attributes that work well include being creative, energetic, and personable.

Teaching Asssitant Role Includes:

  • Help students with classroom tasks
  • Provide emotional and behavioural support
  • Create a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment
  • Assist with pupil supervision, including before and after school activities
  • Build a trusting relationship with all pupils and communicate according to their understanding.
  • Working with ks1 children.
