A Buyer is needed for a manufacturing business in Cumbria on a temporary to potentially permanent basis.

The company is a large manufacturing firm based in Cumbria and over 1000 employees, across the Globe.
Description
- Using the MRP system to place commodity orders
- Develop and manage supplier relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers.
- Forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
- Contribute to the improvement of the procurement process
Profile
The successful 'Buyer' should have:
- Previously worked in a similar Buyer position within manufacturing
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and inventory management.
Job Offer
- An hourly wage between £20-25.
- Immediate start available.
- A 4 day working week with some flexibility on hours and WFH.
