Test Automation Engineer
Salary: £42k
Location: Bury St Edmunds/ Hybrid
My client is looking for a Test Automation Engineer who is ready to take the next step up to join their R&D team in an exciting new role. This company prides itself as being one of the top developer companies in the UK and offers an impressive bonus package.
Responsibilities:
- Automation Development: Create, enhance, and manage automated test scripts utilizing tools like TestComplete, Playwright, TestCafe, and other automation frameworks.
- Test Planning & Execution: Create and manage test plans, cases, and scripts; execute automated tests and analyse results to identify issues.
- Continuous Integration: Oversee build pipelines to ensure continuous testing during development cycles, troubleshooting and resolving issues when tests fail.
- Ongoing Improvement: Keep up with the latest testing tools, techniques, and trends. Continuously refine automation processes to boost test coverage and efficiency.
- Environment Management: Establish, configure, and oversee test environments, including handling data management for automated testing.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for test scripts and processes.
Skills:
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Essential programming expertise.
- Experience in web services testing, including using tools like Postman.
- Proficient in SQL.
- Experienced with Agile/Scrum development practices.
