My client is looking for a driven individual with a passion for learning and growing within a procurement/supply chain environment. As a Procurement Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement department, aligning with the business values to deliver an unrivalled customer experience and professional service.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare and process purchase orders
- Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery
- Communicate with suppliers for quotes, price negotiations and arranging product samples.
- Maintain and develop positive relationships with suppliers
- Provide support to the wider operational team
- Manage inventory levels in the warehouse
- Handle returns for faulty or unwanted items,
- Monitor procurement budgets and contribute to cost-saving measures.
- Ensure the warehouse is well-maintained, clean and compliant with health & safety regulations.
- Manage recycled goods in accordance to sustainability policy.
- Generate procurement reports, analyse performance, and identify areas for improvement.
