Marketing Executive - B2B Events
Based in Central London - Hybrid Working 2-3 days in-office
Salary £26,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Our client is a well known and highly respected b2b events and media business with a fabulous office in central London. Their events are in the form of business conferences and are held in the UK and internationally, they produce and own their industry leading business events.
What will you be doing?
The Sponsorship Marketing Executive will support the multichannel marketing strategy to drive website traffic, engagement, leads, enquiries, retention and sponsor acquisition across our clients b2b events and media products.
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Outreach and continuing communication with the event sponsors to ensure excellent customer experience throughout the entire campaign cycle
- Pulling data lists to support sales and campaign marketing teams
- Processing of opportunities, leads and enquiries in Salesforce to build the sales pipeline
- Coordination of sponsorship marketing collateral including pricing guides and post-event reports
- Boosting the impact of advocacy marketing campaigns
- Driving results in line with sponsorship campaign KPIs and commercial event targets (increasing revenue, web traffic, leads, enquiries, downloads, Calendly meetings)
- Producing and presenting ROI reports for sponsors
- Working with sales and campaign marketing teams to develop robust audience targeting for each sector and product
- Supporting the Marketing Director with testing and analysis of new marketing tactics, e.g. new campaigns, creative and ad formats
- Developing deep knowledge of marketing platforms, channels and best practices
- Updating event websites with sponsor information
- Producing sponsorship marketing creatives including copywriting and working with designers
- Set up and ongoing optimisation of sponsorship campaigns
- Support with additional marketing tasks as needed
Who are we looking for?
- A highly professional and ambitious graduate with a good academic background including a 1st/2:1 degree in a marketing (or related) subject
- Marketing based experience gained in work, societies or through additional training courses
- Working knowledge of marketing platforms and concepts
- Commercially aware
- Confident and capable with management, manipulation and analysis of data in platforms, reports and spreadsheets
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills with great attention to details
- Confident communicator with strong presentation skills
- Data-driven and able to understand and focus on ROI
- Keen to continuously develop your knowledge by reading industry articles, news, etc.
