German speaking Senior HR Manager

A renowned organisation dedicated to promoting global environmental sustainability is seeking a skilled Senior HR Manager fluent in German. In this role, you will collaborate with two other HR Managers. You will be overseeing yourself approximately 50 employees spread across nine Northern European countries. This is a permanent position, with a hybrid work model: 50% from the central London office and 50% from home. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing HR operations for the Northern European region
  • Managing international payroll for 9 countries, reviewing and approving reports from the payroll outsourcing team
  • Handling general HR matters for overseas staff
  • Collaborating with fellow HR Managers to streamline and improve HR processes

Profile:

  • Required to be fluent in German, written and spoken
  • Additional fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Solid background in international HR management, preferably in the Northern European market
  • Experience in managing international payroll
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters diplomatically in an operational HR role
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment as well as independently
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
