My client is seeking a Clinical Operations Manager to maximise clinical funding opportunities and play a lead role in their growth ambitions within the UK. This position serves as a crucial link between their organisation, NHS funding bodies, and national FES services, ensuring the effective delivery of clinical activities.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Maximise positive exposure with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and update on ICB activities.
  • Plan for ICB policy reviews and work with ICBs to align and implement commissioning policies.
  • Manage team of coordinators and administrators, overseeing the patient treatment pathway including referral processes, clinic bookings, and patient discharges.
  • Manage and expand outreach clinic activities, including the selection and onboarding of new clinics and the design of satellite clinics.
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance and Clinical teams to support administrative tasks and report on clinical activities, highlighting variances to budgeted activities.
  • Support local FES services, ensuring local provision requirements are met and planning for growth where necessary.
  • Identify and implement improvements in internal processes and systems.
  • Support staff development through training and promoting collaboration across departments.
  • Attend off-site meetings with ICBs and customers and participate in conferences and events occasionally.
  • Support marketing and awareness initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Structured approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Resilient and persistent in achieving objectives.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple workstreams and maintain high professional standards.
  • Strong internal and external communication skills.
  • Efficient planning abilities and strong influencing skills.
  • Proactive approach to leading change.
  • Ability to travel with occasional overnight stays.
  • Full driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working with the NHS and/or CCGs.
  • Experience in a medical organisation.
  • Experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
