Finance Assistant - Cambridge
Salary 35k per annum
40 hours per week mainly ( Mon-Fri ) day time hours

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant on behalf of a Event Space in Cambridge
The ideal candidate must have hospitality experience Hotel.
The Role
As Finance Assistant you will work closely with senior leadership team to deliver accurate and up to date information on business performance and objectives. Day to day duties will consist of:
- Ensure that effective controls and procedures are in place across the whole business to provide a framework for accountability, control, review and measurement
- Deliver financial analysis in line with company standards
- Full Ownership of site P&L and to ensure Financial objectives are achieved
- To actively support and provide financial analysis for new projects and product launches.
- To actively interact and work with the leadership team to perform controls and analysis of actual performance vs standards
- To develop and maintain a standard cost card template in line with company guidance
- To prepare cost cards in line with sales and operations information, and challenge the managers to deliver the expected business growth and profitability
- To actively control the inventory process and implement any relevant action within the operations to reduce the stock variances.
- Analyse the business performance, to prepare budgetary/forecasting information and to develop our cost accounting.

Your Profile
You will ideally be a Qualified Accountant and have previous experience within a hotel hospitality setting and with the ability to work across a multi-site setting.
