They are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis to support both the Cashroom Supervisor & Finance Manager. Whilst this organisation is very well-established it still manages to operate a close-knit working environment.

Job
The role of Accounts Assistant has the following responsibilities:
- Producing client fund transactions
- Using online banking systems, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately
- Opening and closing accounts
- Processing interest payments
- Processing inter-client transfer transactions
- Producing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Processing purchase ledger invoices
- Processing expenses
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Responsible for petty cash
- Maintaining nominal ledgers and processing journals
- Other duties as required
You
As Accounts Assistant you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
- Previous experience in a legal or professional services firm would be preferred. Alternatively, strong transactional knowledge in both purchase & sales ledger would be happily considered
- Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and excellent IT skills, including Excel
- Must be self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
