This remote based, entry level Accounts Payable job provides opportunity to work directly for a growing financial planning and wealth management business.
The group has acquired several existing firms across the UK and is in the process of amalgamating them into the group structure, therefore going through high levels of change. It is important you are comfortable with a fast paced, changing environment.
You will join their rapidly growing finance team, in your role as Accounts Payable. Your duties will include:
- Receiving and processing purchase invoices
- Liaising with third party suppliers, resolving any queries quickly and efficiently
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Arranging weekly payment runs
- Reviewing and processing staff expenses
- Correctly recording the VAT on invoices and expenses
- Ensuring all costs are approved in accordance with internal policies
- Performing month end reconciliations
- Plus other duties
The finance team all work remotely with a collaborative, open and trusting work relationship.
Accounts Payable Requirements
Due to receiving high volumes of interest for this role, please only apply should you meet the following requirements
- Experience working in Accounts Payable
- Experience using Xero
- Strong time management skills and able to organise and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to analyse problems and offer solutions objectively, and operate independently
- High level of IT literacy and competent using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, plus able to undertake mail-merges etc
Individuals with AAT or similar qualification would be advantageous
