Professional Indemnity Insurance Broker | Producing PI Executive | IDEX Role
A premier national insurance broking firm is seeking an experienced Professional Indemnity Insurance Broker to join their North West team as a Producing PI Executive/IDEX. This is a lucrative opportunity for an ambitious PI specialist.
Role: Producing PI Executive / IDEX (Professional Indemnity Insurance Broker)
Location: North West (Commute to Cheadle 1 day per week)
Salary: Up to £100,000 + Bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a profitable professional indemnity insurance book of business
- Provide expert PI underwriting guidance on complex risks
- Develop and nurture strong insurer relationships for professional indemnity
- Identify new PI business opportunities and cross-sell to existing clients
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver an exceptional client experience
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years' experience as a professional indemnity underwriter or broker
- Proven track record writing retail professional indemnity insurance business
- In-depth expertise in PI insurance market, products, and underwriting
- Ability to effectively manage professional indemnity insurance client relationships
- Excellent negotiation abilities and influencing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- ACII, CPIB or other relevant professional indemnity insurance qualifications
- Existing book of professional indemnity business to transfer (advantageous)
Compensation & Benefits:
- £100,000 base salary
- Lucrative bonus: 10% of retail PI business, 15% of wholesale PI business written
- Additional EBITDA bonus

- Hybrid professional indemnity broker role (1 day per week in Cheadle office)
