We are working with a manufacturing client in Redditch who, due to massive growth, are seeking 2 experienced Press Toolmakers to join their team.
Reporting to the Operations Manager the Key Responsibilities of the Press Toolmaker will include but not be limited to:
- The manufacture and maintenance of press tools, jigs, and fixtures
- Utilising traditional toolroom equipment and operating Wire Erosion/EDM machines.
- Maintaining a safe working environment within the toolroom.
The ideal candidate for the Press Toolmaker will have the following Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferably automotive or aerospace.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- CAD experience (desirable but not essential)
- Have good verbal and written communication skill.
- Have good attention to detail.
- Have worked in a metalwork manufacturing environment.
- Hold a relevant Manufacturing/Engineering qualification or have considerable practical experience in a similar environment.
In return, the Press Toolmaker can expect to receive a competitive salary and package, work a 37.5hour week – working hours can be flexible with start times. Benefits include - 3% employer pension contribution, company sick pay, which increases based on length of service, employee assistance program.
