Year 5 Teacher
The successful and independent teacher will be responsible for a class which includes a pupil with specific medical needs. You will be supported by a Teaching Assistant.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Develop compelling lessons that adhere to the KS2 National Curriculum guidelines and complement the school's creative curriculum.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of age-appropriate expectations for KS2 students, providing appropriate scaffolding and challenges to optimize individual educational outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of data, conducting analyses to identify areas for reteaching and address learning gaps, ensuring consistently high levels of attainment.
- Cultivate positive relationships with all students, fostering an environment of trust and mutual respect.
- Collaborate seamlessly with Teaching Assistants, key stage colleagues, and wider staff, actively sharing advice, resources, and best practices to enhance overall teamwork and effectiveness.
Essential Requirements:
-QTS (Or an equivalent teaching qualification)
-Excellent references to support previous experience in KS2 (ideally in a Year 5 class)
-A CV that covers your full employment history
-The right to work in the UK
