Elevation Recruitment Group are searching for a Buyer to join an SME manufacturing business based in Leeds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain quotes and compare prices using purchasing procedures
- Process purchase orders as needed
- Arrange sub-contract machining, grinding, heat treatment, and painting services
- Manage the Open Order Book and confirm dates in the system
- Handle order acknowledgments and necessary filing
- Chase suppliers for confirmations and expedite orders when required
- Assist in resolving finance queries and price discrepancies
Previous Experience:
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
- Be a collaborative team player capable of independent initiative
- Exhibit excellent communication and IT skills
- Have experience using MRP /ERP systems
