Job Description: Senior Account Manager

Location: Office & Flexible Working

Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Account Manager to join a broking house that specialises in direct and reinsurance structures for large corporate clients. The role involves supporting senior brokers in managing and maintaining client relationships, developing new business, and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treaty contracts, particularly pro rata and XOL, and experience working with sophisticated MGA clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Support brokers in managing existing client relationships and developing new ones.

  • Be the face of the company, engaging directly with clients, including MGA's and carriers, across various regions (agnostic)

  1. Documentation and Presentation:
  • Assist in producing high-quality presentations, submissions, contracts, endorsements, and other necessary documentation.

  • Develop a detailed understanding of the team's portfolio to create tailor-made solutions.

  1. Financial Management:
  • Produce accurate reinsurance cession statements.

  • Maintain reports of fund settlements to/from reinsurers, collaborating with operations teams for smooth transactions.

  1. Operational Support:
  • Ensure operational processes are efficient and effective, supporting senior brokers and the operations team.

  • Handle day-to-day tasks such as discussing endorsements and processing premiums.

  1. Data Management:
  • Cleanse and manage data using tools like Whitespace, PPL, iManage, and work with an outsource provider.

  • Reconcile premiums on a quarterly basis and manage multiple statements from MGAs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in account management within the insurance/reinsurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of treaty contracts, particularly pro rata and XOL. Ideally some experience of direct insurance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with data management tools and processes.

Compensation:
