Management Accountant - Immediate Start
Job Type: 6 months Fixed Term Contract

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Deputy Finance Director, carrying out various financial and management accounting tasks. What you'll do:
As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate and timely management information for the Group. You will be responsible for preparing updated management expense forecasts on a quarterly basis and monitoring performance against budgets. Your role will also involve preparing reports for management as required and assisting in preparing monthly reconciliations. You will also assist in the preparation of some of the Group's indirect tax returns within statutory deadlines. Your responsibilities will extend to ensuring that all expenditure on credit card statements is correctly supported and entered correctly on the Expenses system.
- Maintain accurate and timely management information for the Group
- Assist in preparing updated management expense forecasts on a quarterly basis
- Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts with appropriate variance analysis
- Prepare reports for management as required
- Assist in preparing monthly reconciliations critical to the financial control of the underwriting, claims and expenses systems interface with the accounting system
- Prepare required monthly balance sheet reconciliations in a timely manner after each month end
- Assist in the preparation of some of the Group's indirect tax returns such as US FET, UK VAT, Singapore GST and all IPT returns within statutory deadlines
- Ensure that all expenditure on credit card statements is correctly supported and entered correctly on the Expenses system
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant position will bring advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent analytical skills. You should have prior experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis using Excel. Good report writing skills using Word and PowerPoint are essential, along with strong communication skills. A minimum of two years experience in management accounting is required, along with a degree in accounting or finance and/or a professional accountancy qualification.
