Post Gym Instructor
Hours 12 hours per week 32 weeks per year (September to May)
Ideally to be spread over 3 days - Monday, Thursday and Friday
Grade Spine Point 8 - 10
Salary £5,750.42 - £6,053.63 pa (pro rata of £24,010- £25,276 pa)
The pro rata salary includes entitlement to 22 days annual leave plus bank holiday and College statutory days
Responsible to Head of Sport & PE Department
Responsible for Overseeing the safe use of the Fitness Centre
Purpose of the role
Support the efficient working of the Sport & PE Department, instruct and support students and staff in the safe use of the Fitness Centre alongside delivering fitness classes for students and providing personal fitness programmes.
Person Specification
Essential
- Appropriate qualification in Personal Training
- Level 2 Gym Instructor Certificate
- Level 3 Personal Trainer
Desirable
- Qualified to deliver 'spin-cycle' classes and other fitness disciplines
