We are thrilled to be working exclusively with one of the largest suppliers of specialist and technical textile solutions in Europe in recruiting for a number of sales and administrative roles in the East Midlands. The Internal Sales Representative is a newly created role for the business and will join a growing team in Leicester. This is a really exciting position and if you're from an internal sales background, this could be the role for you!

Job Description

Overview:

The Internal Sales Representative will actively search for new business opportunities and support existing customers with information about the full company offering and product base. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of growing new business, as my client sees opportunity for growth in all divisions!. The ideal candidate is comfortable selling into various businesses and confident in building trust by phone.

The position is based in Leicester, with occasional travel within the UK or abroad to visit suppliers or customers to improve business knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

Searching for new business opportunities through leads, websites, and customer base.

Supporting customers with prices, product range offers, training, technical support, and any other needs.

Identifying correct decision-makers within target customers (designers, architects, manufacturers, facilities managers, etc.).

Developing the customer database on Sage.

Building knowledge about the competition within the marketplace and providing feedback to the business.

Responding to customer enquiries.

Documenting customer information and sharing it with the Sales Manager and Back-office.

Staying up-to-date with the company's new products and features.

Managing budget responsibilities as defined by the branch operation manager.

Ideal Experience:

Proven work experience within Internal Sales.

Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills.

Ability to prioritise workload.

Strong communication skills, excellent written and verbal English.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Sage, and good typing speed.

Ability to work independently and in teams.

Accuracy and attention to detail, ability to work to deadlines.

Problem-solving skills.
