Brand Manager

We need a commercially astute Brand Manager. The opportunity requires excellent project management, brand building and innovation skills; someone digitally savvy; an entrepreneurial spirit; commercially very astute, a disrupter. Someone to make people think differently. Is that you?

Key Role Accountabilities:

  • Develop, implement and execute brand plans.
  • Work with NPD and Sales projects from ideation through to launch
  • Analyse and disseminate market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity to identify market opportunities.
  • Calculate P&Ls, brand profitability and other key metrics.
  • Work with the 'Creative Team' to maintain relevant websites and own digital comms and social media.

The Brand Manager is accountable for the delivery of the UK and Worldwide Vision and Strategy for longer term innovation, working closely with Managing Director and Sales Director.

This role is also accountable for the development and delivery of key innovation projects that will be executed across multiple markets. Working with Insight, Future development and Building Brand Proposition.

The role of the Brand Manager will involve: -

  • The delivery of the short- and long-term agenda in relation to products, new services, commercial models etc
  • Working with insight to understand consumer behaviour and attitude in the context of the spaces that the company has identified to innovate within - (or not yet identified)
  • Determine the best launch model, partnerships to launch new propositions to market
  • Inspire the in-market teams and broader business behind the vision and plan for innovation and deliver the assets to enable the success of brand projects

Candidate and skills required:

  • You'll need to display solid multi market marketing knowledge including strong business acumen, ideally from a Manufacturing, FMCG or Product led company
  • Ideally, you'll have international marketing experience and worked on development of new routes to market and systems.
  • The ability to build cross market portfolio strategies
  • You'll have a proven track record of managing complex projects cross functionally and influencing internal and external stakeholders.
  • You should have a strong interest in product innovations as well as an understanding and interest in consumer behaviour and attitudes and the drivers of this
  • You will be comfortable with change, ambiguity and complexity and flexible to adapt plans when necessary
  • You can make good quality recommendations with clear jobs to be done articulation and impactful narratives
  • You will have strong communication and stakeholder management and the senior leadership team
  • You need to be independent and resilient to work in a busy and evolving environment
  • You will be a confident self-starter with the passion and enthusiasm to get stuck into projects to deliver great business results.
