Prestigious and well-respected firm of chartered accountants based in East Kent and with close ties to the area, now has another outstanding opportunity for an experienced Practice bookkeeper to work for their Canterbury team.
The firm are very active in the local community, hosting business seminars, networking events and sporting opportunities.
Acting for varied sole traders, partnerships and limited company SME's and OMB's of varying sizes and industry sectors, you will deliver bookkeeping, support with management accounts, VAT, and other services to mixed clients.
Key day to day duties:
- Preparing financial data up to trial balance
- Double entry bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
- Prepayments and accruals
- VAT returns
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
What about you?
- Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper- Faversham
- AAT studying, qualified or qualified by experience
- Experience with Xero or QuickBooks Software
- Competent with MS Outlook, Word and Excel
- Good communication and people skills
- Ability to work under pressure
