They offer a clear progression path up to senior levels and regularly run training courses on the equipment they install, they will also send you on paid courses to help grow your knowledge and skill.
Your role will involve working within a team and autonomously to install new smoke ventilation equipment for new building and also to maintain and service the equipment already in use.
This role would suit an Engineer with an Electrical background that has worked in the commercial fire sector looking for a varied role within a rapidly growing company which will offer you ongoing training and progression opportunities.
The Role:
- Able to wire, fix & commission a range of smoke ventilation systems
- Manage large or small installations and ensure that the team you are working with are working to the correct design and standards as per the drawings
- Communicate with other trades to ensure smooth completion of a project
- Understand legislation & BS that apply to the industry
- To be able to communicate with other trades to ensure smooth completion of a project
- Undertake supervisory responsibilities
The Person:
- NVQ Electrical installations or equivalent
- SSSTS
- JIB/ECS card holder
- Happy to work away from home on occasion
