LV Logistics have an exciting opportunity for an Airfreight Operations Co-Ordinator to join the team! You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return will receive a competitive salary.

Key responsibilities of our Airfreight Operations Co-Ordinator:
- Handling of daily airfreight tasks, both import and export, including raising of quotations, issuance of shipping documents, facilitate customs clearances, invoicing clients and passing of purchase invoices.
- Negotiating rates for transportation to maximise both service and profitability.
- Ensuring trade compliance with other countries' regulations and fiscal regimes. Maintaining current knowledge of relevant legislation, political situations and other factors that could affect the movement of freight.
- Having a strong customer focus with the ability to effectively communicate and approach all situations with a calm and sympathetic manner. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and both internal and external customers. Provide customers with regular and accurate updates and deal with any customer queries/complaints that may arise.
- Investigation and planning of the most appropriate route for shipments, considering the nature of the goods, costs, transit times and security.
- Ability to work in a demanding office environment and balance conflicting priorities to keep up with progressive deadlines.
What we are looking for in our Airfreight Operations Co-Ordinator:
- Positive, enthusiastic, dedicated and able to fit into a busy and productive forwarding team.
- Have a good understanding of import and export operations with proven experience.
- A confident communicator with the ability to influence.
- Have a good general understanding of customs requirements.
