Our well established Client based in Bean area is currently looking for a experienced School Caretaker.
For this position the right candidate must have Enhanced DBS and Level 2/3 Diploma (or equivalent) and proficient technical and practical skills.
This is a temporary position with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate, which will currently be during term time only.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Responsible for the security, maintenance and cleaning of the school.
- Designated key holder, providing out of hours and emergency access to the school sites.
- Contribution to the management of the premises budget.
- Undertaking minor repairs and decorations.
- Follow health and safety regulations (COSHH).
- Operating check systems (heating, cooling, lighting and security).
- Handle small amounts of cash for the purchase of materials to carry out repairs.
This is Monday to Friday role covering 37.5 hours a week. This depending on the needs of the school.
