Warehouse Operative
Location - Whitstable
Salary - £12.19 per hour
Hours - Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 and Friday
Temp to Perm
Established for over 60 years, our client is an expert in their field serving clients internationally from manufacturers to OEMs, to converters and more.
Responsibilities for the role of Warehouse Operative
- Picking & packing of customer orders
- Handle 'goods in' and product handing
- Ensure the use of Forklift is carried out in line with H&S protocols
- Ensuring that all goods that are loaded/unloaded match the relevant paperwork
- Storing and rotating stock according to company procedures
- Assisting with warehouse inventory controls
- Assisting customers to load/unload orders onto their delivery vehicles
- Inventory rotations to ensure no stock goes out of date FIFO
Skills and Experience for the Role of Warehouse Operative
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Will need current and valid forklift licence
- Must own safety boots, all other PPE will be provided
- Some heavy and physical lifting is part of the role
- Will be willing to partake in mandatory drug testing
- Must be experienced with a good understanding of warehouse activities in a fast-paced environment
