**Special Guardianship Social Worker
Duration: Initially 3 months
Location: Reading
Rate: £42 umbrella an hour
**About the Role
The Special Guardianship Social Worker will be responsible for providing support to Special Guardians in Reading. The role will involve phone calls and visits to Special Guardians, review and development of Special Guardianship Support Plans, referrals to Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund, liaison with internal and external service providers, and attendance at multi-agency meetings for children living in Special Guardianship arrangements.

**Requirements
- Experience in Family and Friends Foster Care and/or Special Guardianship Support
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
**Qualifications
- Qualified Social Worker (QSW)
- Registered with Social Work England
