Description
- Develop and implement compelling media and communication strategies
- Manage relationships with media outlets and handle media inquiries
- Produce high-quality content for press releases, presentations, and social media
- Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of communication strategies
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure consistency in public messages
- Organise and manage public events, including press conferences and promotional events
- Manage crisis communication in coordination with other teams
- Ensure all communication strategies adhere to the company's brand identity
Profile
A successful Media and Communications Officer should have:
- A degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Experience in a similar role within the Public Sector industry
- Proficiency in managing social media platforms and PR activities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
