Are you currently working towards your AAT Level 4 qualification or recently qualified and looking to get some great experience working for a supportive firm?
My client is an award-winning accountancy firm who have been voted as one of the best places to work in the UK. They're currently looking for a Bookkeeper / Semi Senior Accountant to join their team in Bury. You'll be working as part of a professional and friendly firm of Accountants and have a previous background of working within an accountancy Firm.
As part of your induction, you'll draw up an individual development plan to ensure that you have the skills and knowledge to take your career to the next step. My client is really big on loyalty and upskilling their workforce.
The role:
Accounts/management accounts
- Preparation of FRS102a and FRS105 year-end accounts
- Management accounts preparation
- Draft corporation tax computations
Outsourcing duties
- Bookkeeping, inclusive of monthly reconciliations/monthly journals.
- Assisting clients with payments runs, credit control etc.
- Comfortable with setting up bank feeds.
- Can offer support and training to clients
- VAT returns and submissions including CIS
About you:
- Experience using Xero
- Good knowledge of VAT return processes and the various schemes
- Knowledge of accounting systems, processes and bookkeeping
- Experience of working within an accountancy practice.
