Job Description:
Are you an experienced social worker with a strong commitment to safeguarding vulnerable adults?
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting safeguarding investigations, assessing risks, and working collaboratively to protect adults at risk of abuse or neglect.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults at risk to identify safeguarding concerns, risks, and needs.
- Leading and coordinating safeguarding investigations to ensure the protection of vulnerable adults.
- Developing and implementing safeguarding plans that promote safety, independence, and well-being.
- Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and community organizations to deliver effective safeguarding interventions.
- Providing advocacy and support for adults at risk, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are protected..
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, safeguarding plans, and interventions in line with legal and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in a social work role, particularly within adult safeguarding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with adults, families, and professionals.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to adult safeguarding.
