FP&A Analyst

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit an FP&A Analyst to join an exciting Professional Services company experiencing huge growth based in Bristol. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:

£50,000 - £64,000 plus excellent benefits including hybrid remote working

Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Support the collation of monthly forecast inputs for Orders, Revenue, Earnings and Cash across the business in conjunction with the Finance Business Unit Integrators
  • Provide timely variance reporting to forecast identifying key drivers for under or over performance against forecast and plan
  • Partner with the Head of Finance representatives for each of the three Business Units, together with their respective counterparts in order to highlight key levers for financial performance against forecast/plan and proactively drive this performance into the reported results
  • Provide key support to the compilation of the Long Range Business Plan that defines the Orders, Revenue, Earnings & Cash targets for the Business Unit over the subsequent 5 year financial period
  • Coordination of ad-hoc investment appraisal and Business Case analysis support to the wider company to help inform sound business decisions are made within the growing portfolio in a manner that aligns with the strategic plan
  • Coordination with the Finance Systems Integration focal to drive improvement in how their function maximises use of its toolset

Person specification:

  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified
  • Hold Business Partnering as a key strength and drive cohesion across both functional and programmatic stakeholders towards congruent business goals and objectives
  • Demonstrable commercial, business and financial acumen
  • A capable communicator comfortable in briefing to both financially and non-financially minded individuals that provides insight into financial performance and then alignment on business decisions going forward
  • A proven ability to see opportunities and risks and to manage them to create enhanced value for the organisation
  • A team player that collaborates with the wider Finance Senior Leadership team (FSLT) across business, people and financial priorities
  • Be proficient in using the basic Microsoft Word applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint
