The health and safety coordinator will assist with developing the current health and safety system to ensure compliance with legislation, procedures and processes.
Assist in monitoring health and safety performance across the organisation to support continuous improvement.
The responsibilities typically include:
- Create, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures
- Perform regular risk assessments and safety inspections
- Identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks
- Organise and conduct training sessions for employees on health and safety practice
- Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses
- Ensure the organization complies with all health and safety legislation
- Maintain records of safety inspections, risk assessments, and training sessions
- Act as a point of contact for health and safety-related issues
- Recommend improvements based on audit findings
- Implement programs to promote workplace health and well-being
- Updating internal CRm health and safety systems
