Robert Half are delighted to be supporting a global business in Avonmouth on the recruitment of a Senior Credit Controller. Reporting to the Group Credit Manager, you will be supporting in managing and collecting debts in a timely and efficient manner.
The ideal candidate will have strong prior experience working in a credit control position, have an exceptional attention to detail, and be always willing to go the extra mile.
Our client are based in a great office with modern facilities in Avonmouth, with plenty of free parking available. They adopt a hybrid working model which would see you split your time between the office and home.
Responsibilities of the Senior Credit Controller will include but not be limited to:
- Chasing debt via phone calls and letters.
- Cash allocation and reconciliation.
- Supervision of two members of staff.
- Managing strong working relationships with customers.
- Reviewing invoices and flagging any necessary queries for escalation.
- Monitoring customer credit limits, unallocated payments and customer balances to ensure they are addressed/collected in a timely manner.
Your Profile:
- Strong credit control experience is essential for this role, ideally within a fast paced and high-volume environment.
- Good working knowledge of end-to-end accounts receivable.
- A confident communicator and excellent relationship builder, able to work well with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong user of Excel, able to do v look ups and pivot tables as a minimum.
In return, the salary on offer is up to £35k plus benefits including a bonus.
