Programme Assurance Officer - 6 Month Contract
£14.71 per hour
This role will support the Council's Portfolio, Programme and Project Managers across a broad range of delivery priorities. This includes significant policy and strategy delivery; and projects and programme to ensure delivery against the objectives of the Councils Corporate Plan.
Responsibility:
We are looking for a highly organised individual, which will require you to coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of complex projects and programmes to achieve project outcomes and support the delivery of the Plan.
- To lead the governance processes and development of associated documentation for the assigned priority activities allocated by the Programme and Performance Manager to ensure compliance with the Councils Project
- Facilitate the approval processes throughout scoping, delivery and closure of all assigned activities
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure the project is running inline with budget and time frame
- Regularly engage with the teams to present reporting and finding
- To lead on the facilitation, challenge and innovation through engagement activity to promote the service and achieve buy-in to statutory and corporate goals and priorities.
- To deputise for the Programme and Performance Manager as and when required.
- Keep upto date with legislations and developments within the projects
- Ad-hoc project duties
Your Experience
- Experience (min 2 years) in Programme Management Office (PM), Programme and Project Management, working on complex and multifaceted programmes and projects.
- knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects.
- knowledge of techniques around business cases, delivery, change and benefits management#
