Job Title: Administrator

Location: Sandy Lane, Orford, Warrington WA2 9HY

Hours: 37.5 per week Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm (1 hour lunch) & Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm (half hour lunch)

Trust Location: Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

Duration: Temporary role for 2 months with possibility of extension

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the community clinics and associated health professionals
  • Act as first point of contact for all client enquiries, responding to telephone and face to face enquiries in an efficient, tactful and professional manner, redirecting calls, taking action as appropriate. Liaising with internal services and partner agencies when necessary as directed
  • The maintenance of the patient booking system in the reception function to include the preparation and arrangement of appointments including inputting of referrals ensuring all clerical work resulting is dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Scanning documents / reports onto System 1 using strong attention to detail
  • Book clinic and meeting rooms within the premises and keep room availability updated as appropriate

This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Evidence of strong administration background
  • NHS experience is highly desirable
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office programmes
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail skills
