ICAEW is seeking a visionary Regional Director to join our team, overseeing the North East, Yorkshire & The Humber Region. Enhance Visibility and Reputation:

  • Elevate ICAEW's presence among members and external stakeholders.
  • Highlight the value ICAEW brings to its members' professional lives and its contributions to the broader business and economic landscape.

Support Member Career Development:

  • Collaborate with colleagues and local volunteers to provide resources and support at the regional and local level.
  • Develop activities to drive member engagement, including professional development resources, networking opportunities, and career support initiatives.

Devise & Implement Regional Strategy:

  • Execute ICAEW's strategic plans by tailoring initiatives to regional needs and aligning them with broader organisational goals.
  • Adapt strategies to meet the unique dynamics of the North East, Yorkshire & The Humber Region.

Lead the Regional Team:

  • Manage and guide the regional team to ensure they effectively contribute to ICAEW's strategy and objectives.
  • Provide direction, support, and development opportunities for team members.

  • Stay attuned to technological advancements, industry trends, and evolving member expectations.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of the business and economic issues pertinent to the regional landscape, demonstrating a keen awareness of local dynamics and trends.

You will have a proven track record of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, including local and regional policymakers, to forge strong relationships and achieve shared goals. Your leadership skills are exemplary, with a history of successfully managing and inspiring remote teams to collaborate efficiently and achieve strategic objectives. Exceptional communication skills are a hallmark of yours, enabling you to convey clear and consistent messages across various channels to team members, stakeholders, and internal teams alike. Additionally, you are adept at tailoring your communication style to effectively engage diverse audiences, underscoring your strong presentation abilities. This combination of skills and experience ensures you can effectively lead, innovate, and drive the mission of ICAEW in the region.
