Role Overview

The main objective of this position is to direct contact with customers and to build and maintain relationships to generate sales. This role requires an individual with a proven track record in sales and a deep technical understanding combined with the ability to emphasise and resolve customer issues.

Position 1:
Territory: North Cambridge
Products: Protein, cell and molecular biology products
Customers: Pharma and Biotech

Position 2:
Territory: Addenbrookes (Cambridge)
Products: Protein, cell and molecular biology products
Customers: Academia and Research

Key Duties

Maintain direct contact with customers, building and maintaining strong relationships.

Increase & generate sales to customers during onsite visits, following up with calls and email correspondence.

Working with marketing and/or technical sales specialists for supply agreements and contracts.

Set up and coordinate technical seminars.

Support the internal team with any additional projects, coverage or mentoring as required.

Person Spec

BSc in a Life Science or equivalent.

Molecular biology consumables sales experience is preferable.

Full driver's licence.

Willing to travel up to 80% of the time to customer locations.
