Salary: £50 - £55 per hour
Contract: Temporary (6 months)

The Opportunity
North Herts Council is seeking a Property Solicitor to provide expert legal advice on property law and commercial matters. This part-time, temporary role involves managing property transactions, drafting legal documents, and advising on leasehold, freehold, and development agreements. You will also support the Council in compliance and local government law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle property law cases including leases, development agreements, and lease renewals.
- Draft legal documents such as contracts, wayleaves, and instructions to Counsel.
- Provide legal advice on property and local government matters.
- Attend Council meetings and contribute to reports.
- Ensure legal compliance and keep documents up to date.
Required Experience:
- Qualified Solicitor, Cilex Fellow, or Barrister.
- Significant experience in property law, including leases and development agreements.
- Strong drafting and case management skills.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration.
