We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprentice in Lytham St Annes!

This is a fantastic chance to earn a salary while gaining a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent EYFS-specific qualification). Our comprehensive 16-month apprenticeship programme will equip you with the essential skills and knowledge to become a fully qualified and highly valued Level 3 Teaching Assistant.

The Apprenticeship Role:

As an EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience and develop vital skills under the guidance of our experienced Early Years team. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting children's learning and development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Assisting the Class Teacher/Practitioner in preparing and delivering engaging activities and resources.
  • Working with individual children or small groups to provide targeted support and enhance their progress.
  • Observing and assessing children's development, contributing to their learning journeys and progress reports.
  • Promoting a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children feel happy and secure.
  • Assisting with classroom management and organisation.
  • Supporting children's personal care where necessary, fostering independence.
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues.
  • Actively participating in all off-the-job training and completing apprenticeship coursework to achieve your Level 3 qualification.
  • Upholding all safeguarding policies and procedures.

  • Minimum Entry Requirements: GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) or equivalent in English and Maths (or willingness to work towards Functional Skills Level 2 as part of the apprenticeship).
  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (if not already held).
