Accounts Assistant

My client, a well-known growing business in the Camberley area are looking for a full time permanent Accounts Assistant .

Hours: 37.5 hours a week (Monday to Friday) - Hybrid working model - 3 days a week in the office

Job duties:

Collaborate within a professional, close-knit UK Finance team to support the business in delivering to major retailers.
Process invoices through the Accounts Payable system, covering SG&A, Supply Chain, Stock, and Inter-company transactions.
Resolve issues by communicating effectively (both verbally and in writing) with Vendors and key Evergreen Stakeholders.
Reconcile Vendor statements.
Maintain GRIR accounts and investigate any outstanding issues.
Ensure efficient and systematic electronic filing of invoices using IT Capture and Approval.
Assist with daily cash allocation in SAP for all Sales Ledger Customer accounts.
Support the approval of Staff Expenses in accordance with policy.
Help resolve blocked orders promptly in collaboration with the Customer Experience team.
Perform daily bank reconciliations using online banking software and accurately record all transactions in SAP.
Conduct BACS and foreign payment runs by loading payments onto the HSBC banking platform.
Manage direct debits, including setup, control, and cancellation.

Experienced as an accounts assistant is ideal
Proactive working style, capable of negotiating with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Highly numerate, with proficiency in Excel and IT systems.
