The Internal Sales role is pivotal in ensuring that all customer inquiries are meticulously evaluated to identify potential commercial, contractual, and technical challenges.

The role involves managing these aspects as a core part of the sales process, thereby mitigating risks to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Enquiries: Carefully review all enquiries to identify and manage potential commercial, contractual, and technical issues within the sales process.
  • Quotation Preparation: Utilize computerized pricing data, controlled proposal documentation, and authorized pricing policies to prepare all quotations, ensuring adherence to company procedures and processes.
  • Policy Compliance: Ensure all quotations comply with defined policies related to pricing, discounts, contractual conditions, and terms of trade.
  • Order Review: Thoroughly check and review orders received by the Sales team, addressing any discrepancies or missing information at the source to maintain continuous internal customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Communication: Maintain direct and routine communication with the Sales team to ensure timely completion of quotations and proposals.
  • KPI Tracking: Monitor personal key KPIs for the generation, recording, and status of qualified leads.
  • CRM Management: Capture timely, accurate, and complete information in the Company's CRM system, conducting regular data quality checks.
  • Performance Reporting: Regularly report to the Internal Sales Manager on performance against agreed Sales metrics, KPIs, and targets.
  • Policy Adherence: Perform duties in strict accordance with all Company policies, procedures, and processes.

  • Attention to Detail: Excellent administrative skills with a very high attention to detail.
  • Commercial Awareness: Distributor relationship-focused with a keen sense of commercial awareness.
  • Performance Under Pressure: Ability to work under pressure and meet objectives by agreed deadlines.
  • Computer Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft TEAMS.
  • Experience: Proven work experience within an internal sales role.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Sales Process Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of the sales administration process.
