Butler Rose is delighted to support a market-leading organisation situated on the outskirts of Nottingham. Our client is renowned for their dedication to excellence and innovation in their field. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Credit Controller to join their dynamic Finance team.
As a Credit Controller, you will manage the company's credit and collections process, ensuring timely payments from clients and maintaining accurate records. Your role is crucial to maintaining the financial health of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure the timely collection of outstanding invoices
- Resolve customer billing issues and handle disputes
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities
- Prepare regular reports on account status and collection efforts
- Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and customer satisfaction
- Negotiate payment plans and terms with clients
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of credit and collections processes
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior management
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
