As a CNC Operator, you will set and operate a defined machine resource producing a product portfolio to meet design criteria. You will also report to the team leader and be responsible for the machine resource during operation and the tooling and fixtures specified for the process activities undertaken.
In your first few weeks in this CNC role, you can expect to:
- Set tooling and fixtures within a defined manufacturing process
- Work on a shift pattern - earlies, lates and nights
- Liaise with the quality team to close any defined gap between submitted work and design or stage drawing requirement
- Carry out any data capture required to improve process capability and control
- Ensure work is moved on to the next work centre on completion of current operation.

- Demonstrable experience in CNC machining of high precision products from a variety of materials and forms, i.e., solid, castings or forgings
- Demonstrated experience in a high value, low volume mechanical manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of Fanuc controls.
