Description
- Design and deliver a programme of independent assurance work covering the Core replacement programme, providing outcomes to the Audit Committee and Board. Work may include audits and evidence reviews, as well as live engagement through input into and challenge at stakeholder meetings and programme forums.
- Set the audit plan for Change aspects of the business using risk assessment which incorporates detailed knowledge of the Society and the external environment in which it operates. Collaborate with rest of Internal Audit leadership team to align plans and resourcing.
- Engage regularly with other internal and external assurance providers to ensure that plans for both the Core programme and the Change portfolio are aligned to their activities where appropriate and that any perceived duplications or gaps are addressed or clearly understood and explained.
Profile
A successful Senior Audit Manager - Tech Assurance should have:
- Significant, demonstrable experience at a senior level in Financial Services programme assurance.
- Excellent track record in senior stakeholder management.
- Strong skills in communicating outcomes and influencing up to Executive level.
- Extensive leadership experience / skills
- Advanced assurance skills, including planning, delivery and reporting
- In-depth knowledge of IT change in a Financial Services context.
- Understanding of internal audit change methodology
- Relevant professional qualification (Audit or Accountancy) preferable
